After stitching one sock as in the pattern piece on the left, cut between the sewing lines, turn rightside out, stuff! |

See my cute butt??? Whip stitch the opening between the legs shut. |

Tie a ribbon or piece of yarn tightly to define the head area... a nice bow is in order!

The monkey begins to take life, doesn't he???

Here are the pieces stitched and cut out of the second sock.

Turn the pieces rightside out, stuff. Here are the arms and tail.

Stitch the arms on, using the neckline as a guide. The tail gets stitched to the center of the red bottom!

Line up the mouth piece on the white part of the head. Stitch around the lower edge first, stuff, and then sew the top shut.

Turn the ears rightside out - stuff lightly if you prefer, and sew to the sides of the head.

Tie a knot in a piece of black yarn, and sew on the eyes and mouth. Don't worry about the knot showing --- the hat will cover it up.

Add a little bow with ribbon or yarn to the top of the hat. Roll the edge of the hat piece up and stitch in place, then attach to monkey's head securely. |

Add a stitched heart or button to the monkey's chest... give him a hug! He's done and ready to be loved!
